Installation Instructions for Remote Desktop on Ubuntu LXDE

Install LXDE Desktop GUI

apt-get install xfonts-base-core lxde tightvncserver

– Create the configuration file and set the VNC password to connect

tightvncserver: 1

Simply enter your password respectively when asked Password and Verify . Note password on Ubuntu What characters will not appear offline, the maximum password length of 8 characters.

So is done here, now you use a program any VNC Viewer, connect to the server: IP: 1 and user password to login placed previously.

Note:

If you want to install Firefox to browse the web, use the following command:

apt-get install firefox

Install tool uget, accelerate downloads on Ubuntu:

apt-get install uget

VNC password change log:

vncpasswd

If there VPS reboot, run the following command to launch VNC:

tightvncserver: 1
